Forbes released its annual ranking of NFL team values. The 5 most valuable NFL franchises: Cowboys ($1.8 billion), Redskins ($1.6 billion), Patriots ($1.4 billion), Giants ($1.2 billion) and Texans ($1.2 billion).
The least valuable: Jaguars ($725 million), Raiders ($758 million), Bills ($799 million), Rams ($779 million) and Vikings ($774 million).
Hit by a recession and the looming possibility of a lockout in 2011, the average value decreased 2% from last year to $1.022 billion. None of the top 12 franchises lost more than 3% of their value, while the bottom six dropped by 5 to 16%.
